Quería hacer este post para recordarles que en la comunidad se puede postear tanto en ingles como en español y que pueden postear cualquier cosa relacionada con Macross/Robotech, ya sean preguntas o comentarios de alguna de las sagas de robotech como Macross, los Maestros de la Robotecnia, la Nueva Generacion y por supuesto de Macross, incluyendo Macross Zero, Macross Frontier, Macross Plus, Macross Seven. También pueden postear recomendaciones de fanfics, de fanvideos y fanart que vieron en la red o sus propios trabajos como fanartistas. O dudas que tengan ya sea donde encontrar  links de interes y por supuesto rumores de la supuesta live action movie :)

I've been  watching Robotech lately and I couldn't help thinking how great the music is. Either they are songs or music to create the mood.
So I wanted to ask you people which one are your top 3 favorite songs?

Mines are
1. Lonely soldier boy by Lancer
2. We will win (Lancer version is my fav but Minmei's at Force or arms is great too)
3. Battle stations/The 15th squadron, that's a tie because I love both themes. They were perfect to create the mood that a combat was coming and then that the fight was taking place!

Special mention to
Look up the sky is falling! did I mention that Lancer is my favorite singer and this song is pure 80's
To be in love, by Minmei what can I say I like this song even if she is the singer :P
My time to be a star, because who does not know how this song starts! stage lights flashing, the feeling's smashing....
Enemy attack, because I can see the Zentraedi coming
Roy's Fokker theme, because that was the theme to show that something had gone well
Rick Hunter's theme, because well it's Rick Hunter's and it showed that hero had done something heroic lol!
Catastrophe, you hear this song and you immediately know something bad is coming
Cyclone, because I could see the gang jumping to their cyclons and transforming.
The Robotech follies, because I can see Rick in his bicycle trying to get to the Miss Macross pageant
Lifeline, not very often but from time to time this was the song that showed that our beloved characters were out and having a good time.
Musica, because there was something in that song that is intriguing and I like it
Robotechnology, The invids are coming!!!
The invid, I can see flowers of life blossoming every time I hear this song
The zentraedi, because duh! Breetai is coming

Too many I think, but what can I say I love the OST of Robotech :P
Now I can't wait to hear yours ;)

I have been wanting to post this for a long time and since I was talking to Gppr today about fics I thought now is the perfect time.
This are some fics that I have read and that I think they are very good and you wont be disappointed if you read them ;)

I was doing some "research" about RT related sites on LJ and while doing that I found some ideas for fics.
I wanted to shared them with you guys maybe that way some of us will find the inspiration to write something.

Oh and also you can recommend here some fics that you had read lately and that you think other RT fans will enjoy.

Fics Ideas.
What if Lisa will have had the chance to get reunited with Karl in Sara Base. Like she has promise him, just after graduating she had been transferred there? It could be short short fic like Lisa arriving there and then the terrorist attack?

What if Miriya hasn't fall in love with Max and instead she had taken Azonia's place beside Khyron?

I was thinking the other day about the rumors that a live action movie will be done. The news was quite big last year but I haven't hear anymore about it lately.
Does anyone has any news about it?
Are you waiting for the movie?
and what do you think about Tobey as Rick?

I start watching Macross zero again yesterday and had forgotten how good it was, or at least I like it a lot. It is 100 times better than SC!
So if you haven't seen it I really recommend you to do it and if you have tell me what you think about it, did you like it? what was the best thing about it? did you watch the VTs?

here is a description of the series in case you haven't seen it

Macross Zero is set in 2008 A.D., one year before the events of the original Macross series, depicting the final battles of the U.N. Wars[1] between the U.N. Spacy and the Anti-UN forces set in the South Pacific, where a gigantic alien spaceship crash landed 9 years earlier. Amidst the violence, a U.N. Spacy F-14KAI pilot named Shin Kudo is attacked by a strange enemy aircraft that can transform itself into a robot. Crash landing on Mayan Island he learns that this remote island and its peaceful native inhabitants hold a great secret linking them to the alien space ship and would become the focus of the war, whether they like it or not. Shin eventually returns to his carrier fleet and joins the Skull Squadron, who also operate brand new transforming fighters, the type Zero Valkyrie. He trains and engages Anti-UN forces operating from a converted ballistic missile submarine as both sides fight to locate and control alien artifacts, with the peaceful and agrarian Mayan caught in the middle of the war.
It also tells part of the history of Roy Fokker before his days in the SFD-1
